Hostage
Rescue Team for County Corrections
This
is the first national program released exclusively for "county
corrections." The program is based on national research following 10
years of CERT training programs
delivered to counties nationwide. This 3 day (24 hour) certification
training program is designed to effectively train select personnel as HRT
members to judiciously manage potential hostage rescue operations within a
county jail facility. Extensive training in aggressive take-down techniques,
dynamic & stealth facility team movement, rescue and downed officer
methods will be intensively covered utilizing modern technological advanced
less lethal weaponry. Officers selected for this training should be in
superior physical condition and have
extensive CERT experience. This course
is extremely, mentally & physically demanding!
Topics Covered in the
Program Include:
- Intensive
practice, drills and scenarios in the proper preparation and
implementation of a operational Correctional HRT Tactical Action Plan
for use in various areas of a facility utilizing a four to six person
team.
- Considerations
in various HRT equipment requirements, HRT threat assessment analyses,
HRT environmental logistics and known intelligence.
- Rescue
tactics for downed officer(s) with protection & controlled movement
will be extensively practiced with & without specialized equipment.
- Realistic,
hands-on use & employment of specialized less lethal, chemical and
diversionary munitions for use in HRT operations.
- Numerous
exercises and scenarios in both stealth & dynamic operations will be
conducted in both day & night operations in and outside a facility.
TUITION:
$3600.00 for 6 team members inclusive of manuals,
Demonstration munitions, course materials and 3 year certification. NOTE:
Attendee's must bring some additional munitions and equipment to this
course. A list will be faxed upon request. Limited enrollment, register your
team early.
