COURSE PROFILE: The Courtroom has changed significantly from a safe to a potentially lethal environment. Assaults, stabbings and lethal encounters are becoming more commonplace in the judicial setting. This three-day course was designed and developed to enhance the safety of officers and court personnel. This program was developed from contemporary issues and concerns occurring in courtrooms from a national geographic perspective. Training addresses handling verbally combative to physically combative persons in the court setting. Rapid response to potential lethal encounters is designed for the court officer prior to tactical team arrival. This certification is valid & backed in a court of law for 3-years
